Condolence & Memory Journal

Aunt Patsy, I was so sad to hear of Uncle Gus's passing. He was always so warm and excited when we would visit, and always loved knowing what was going on in our lives. I mentioned it to him when I saw you both a few weeks ago, that his passion and talent for photography was a big influence in getting me into photography. I'm sorry that I wasn't able to make it down this weekend, but I'm glad that I was able to see you two in August, and I look forward to the day I'll see him again with our Lord Jesus in heaven. I'll be praying for you, and feel free to call or email if you ever want to talk.

Love, Daniel

Uncle Gus always showed his excitement to see others and brought a smile to everyone's faces. Each time I visited, he would make sure he knew how everyone else's life was going before talking about himself. Uncle Gus was a joy to be around and always made others laugh. Patsy, I pray that God will give you strength and peace during these tough times. Love, Nathan

Uncle Gus always greeted us with a warm handshake, hug, and kisses. We were welcomed and treated with his delight anytime we came to visit. He loved to tell us stories and jokes, and conversation around the table was always interesting and those are fond memories for us. We loved his and Aunt Patsy's travelogues, professionally done and a treat to watch. We will miss him dearly.

Gus you will be missed. Thankful to have known you, your kindness, your jokes, your laughter and the friendship you have shown to our family over the years.
"Going home, I'm going home
There is nothing to hold me here
I've caught a glimpse of that Heavenly land
Praise God, I'm going home"
One day we'll see you again. Rest In Peace.
