Army Emblem

Edgar L. Mayne, Sr. died April 25, 2012.

Born in 1918, Ed was a lifelong resident of the Wilmington area. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran of WWII. Until shortly before his death, Ed was an active trap, skeet and sporting clays shooter.

Ed was predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Josephine. He is survived by his son Ned and daughter Julie.

Committal services will be held on Monday, April 30, at 11:00 am at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Delaware Hospice, 3515 Silverside Road, Wilmington DE 19810.
