Helen Wawerchak, 89, formerly of Monessen, died April 7, 2012 after a brief illness.

She is survived by her daughter, Michelle of Chadds Ford and daughter Judy, son-in-law Roger, granddaughter, Chelsey and grandson, Connor Firor of Landenberg. She is also survived by a nephew, Richard Sotak (Susan) of Albuquerque, NM, a sister-in-law, Kaye Wawerchak and nieces, Wende, Stacey and Vicki Wawerchak of California.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John and by her siblings, Susan Sotak, Paul Miklo and Jan Miklo.

Service and interment will be private.
