Margaret (Marge) Morrone passed away peacefully surrounded by her children and husband on Saturday, April 7, 2012. She shared 84 years with us-filled with love and kindness.
Marge was born in Clare, Mich, is a veteran from the Navy, a Navy wife of 21 years and our Mom. She was very active with Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Sodality and Seaford Red Hats prior to her move to Sunrise Assisted Living with her husband.
We will all miss her in body but know she is with us forever-her smile, her heart, and her giving.
She is fondly remembered by her husband, George, married for 57 years, daughter, Vicki Morrone and her partner Sieglinde, son, Anthony Morrone and his wife, Colleen, and 5 grandchildren; Victoria and Laly Sorrone, and Katherine, Joseph and Brynn Morrone.
Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing on Monday, April 16, 2012 beginning at 9:30 AM at Chandler Funeral Home, 2506 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE 19803. A mass of Christian burial will be offered at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 7 Sharpley Road, Wilmington, DE 19803. Interment will follow at Delaware Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.
