Marian Decker Hunt passed away peacefully in Greenville, DE on April 12, 2012. She was born in Elkton, MD in 1920 to Josef B. and Gertrude W. Decker.
Marian will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, as well as a caring and loyal friend. She is survived by her daughters Eve Taylor (Bill) of Hernando, FL and Mary Jane Kirby of Wilmington, DE, sons Clif Hunt (Carol) of Greenville, DE and Chris Hunt (Linda) of Wilmington, DE, 13 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her husband Thomas R. Hunt, Sr., and her son Thomas R. Hunt, Jr.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 21st at St. Joseph on the Brandywine Church, 10 Old Church Road, Greenville, Delaware.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Ministry of Caring, 506 N. Church St., Wilmington, Delaware 19801.
