Michael J. Frawley

With sadness, Michael J. Frawley passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Heartland Hospice House. He was 55.

Mike was born and lived most of his adult life in the Wilmington area. After high school, Mike continued his education at Cornell University and then returned to Wilmington and established himself in the food and beverage industry.

Mike was a gentle, loyal soul with a sharp wit and a vast knowledge of everything it seemed. If anyone needed an answer to any kind of trivia question, Mike generally had the answer. He loved golf and was a boating, fishing and scuba diving enthusiast, which took him to sun filled beaches and resorts. Along with Mike's mild, kind disposition, he was surprisingly resilient. He will be greatly missed.

Mike is survived by his sister Cheryl Horton, his brother Rick Ferrell (wife Emily) along with a niece (Alexis) and 4 nephews (Cody, Daniel, Kirby and Max). Mike was predeceased by his father, John (Jack) and mother, Barbara.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday May 24, 2013 at CHANDLER FUNERAL HOMES, 2506 Concord Pike, Wilmington where friends may call beginning at noon. Interment will follow the service at Lower Brandywine Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Heartland Hospice House, 5661 Ochletree Lane, Wilmington, DE 19808.
