William James Hill IV, husband of Peggy Kelk Hill, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012 in Lewes, Delaware.

Jim was born in Wilmington, Delaware, on February 5, 1939. He was the twin-son of William James Hill III and Margaret Louise Hill Little. Jim was a 1957 graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School. He was employed with Hercules, Inc. for 34 years and with Applied Extrusion Technologies (AET) for 6 years. He retired in 2001 and moved from Landenberg, Pennsylvania to Bethany Beach, Delaware.

Jim is survived by his wife, Peggy as well as their daughters, Aimee R. Delaney and husband Michael F. Delaney Jr. of Holland, PA, daughter, Laurie L. Hill of Wilmington, Delaware, twin brother, Thomas Lynn Hill and his wife, Barbara Giordano Hill, brother, Steven Alan Hill and his wife, Becky Berndt Hill, grandson Michael William Delaney, granddaughter's Erin June Delaney and Caitlin Kelk Delaney, along with many nieces and nephews.

Jim was an avid reader of any and all categories. Jim and his wife were devoted Phillies and Eagles fans and enjoyed watching the games together. Antiquing was also a favored activity as Jim loved looking through old memorabilia. Jim enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, known to them as "Pop-Pop Moose". Jim and Peggy would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this year on November 24, 2012.

The family would like to thank the staff at Tunnell Cancer Center and Beebe Hospital for their compassionate care.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 11th at 11:00 am at the Aldersgate Methodist Church, Concord Pike, Wilmington, Delaware, 19803 where friends and family may visit from 9:30 to 11:00 am. Interment will be held on Friday afternoon at 2:30 pm at Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle, Delaware.
